The Outer Continental Shelf Sale 207 was held in New Orleans on August 20, 2008. Sale 207 covered the WGOM Planning Area.

Sale 207, just completed, resulted in 423 bids, by 53 companies, on 319 tracts, for a total of $607,134,968. The total sum of apparent winning bids was $487,297,676, on approximately 1.8 million acres.

Last year, Sale 204 resulted in 358 bids, by 47 companies, on 282 tracts, for a total of $369.5 million. The total sum of apparent winning bids was $290.0 million, on approximately 1.6 million acres.

·       ConocoPhillips Company - $24.0 million
