The Outer Continental Shelf Sale 205 was held in New Orleans on October 3, 2007. Sale 205 resulted in 1,428 bids, by 84 companies, on 723 tracts, for a total of $5,245,583,944. The total sum of apparent winning bids was $2,904,321,011, on approximately 3.9 million acres.
